Car Hire

Quality car hire can be included in the PROSOL golf holiday package price. The recommended car for golfers is the Peugeot Partner or the Fiat Doblo - both are ideal for carrying your travel cases and golf clubs. They are an enjoyable car to drive and have more than enough room for 4 people, including the driver.

All cars are under 2 years old, fully insured and come with unlimited mileage. Upon arrival, your group will be met at the airport and taken to the car hire office, where all the necessary paperwork will be completed. From there, one of our representatives will escort them back to their accommodation.

Car hire is a popular choice for those golfers who perhaps wish to have a little bit more independence and want to travel further a-field on the non-golfing days. We find that for golfing parties where there are some non-golfers this is a good choice of transport, as it allows the non-golfers to go off and explore freely.

Executive Coach Transfers

As an alternative to car hire, PROSOL can arrange coach transfers to and from the airport and to and from the golf courses. We are finding that more and more golf groups prefer this arrangement as it allows them to have a couple of drinks after their golf, and not worry about driving. So, no need to worry about hangovers and sore heads in the morning and arguing about who's turn it is to drive.

Our representative will meet your group at the airport and ensure that you are taken to your accommodation, and back to the aiport again, at a pre-arranged time for your flight back home again. Your group leader will have arranged with us prior to arrival the times that you would like to be met in the morning for your day at the golf club and the time that you would like to be picked-up after your round of golf (allowing, of course, for that all important stop at the 19th hole!!) This is the perfect arrangement for groups who are wishing to just sit back and relax and enjoy the whole golfing experience.

Taxis

Taxis on the Costa del Sol are very clean and reliable and we do find that some of our clients prefer to just use taxis.

All our hotels will help you to book your taxis for your trips to and from the golf courses and, of course, for your nights out.

* Malaga Airport to Benalmadena - Approx 30.00 Euros
* Malaga Airport to Fuengirola - Approx 40.00 Euros
* Malaga Airport to Puerto Banus - Approx 50.00 Euros

Taxi rates for golf courses depend on where the course is in relation to the accommodation, but for local courses, the fares range from approximately 10 - 30 Euros per taxi. Most hotels will be more than happy to help you arrange your taxis and pre-book them for the days that you are golfing.

Remember, if you do choose taxis for transfers to and from the airport, our representative will still be on hand to assist.
