Alhaurin Golf Course - Costa del Sol

Alhaurin is a unique club in that it has three golf courses - an 18 hole par 72 course designed by Seve Ballesteros, a nine hole par 3 course bordering a beautiful lake, and an 18 hole junior course close to the clubhouse.(children may play only when accompanied by an adult.) There is also a driving range that overlooks the whole area.

It is located close to Alhaurin el Grande, a thriving town in the valley behind the Mijas Mountain. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to explore before ro after your game.

The par 72 course is of international quality with challenging holes, lush green fairways and greens set amongst pine woods.

The natural terrain has, for the most part, been respected and 8,000 trees (mostly old olives) along with 20 million flower seeds have been planted at Alhaurin.

There is an urbanisation adjacent to the clubhouse where many apartments and villas are available to rent and to buy. With Marbella, Malaga and Fuengirola each less than 45 minutes away it is centrally situated for easy access to most of the popular resorts and courses on the Costa del Sol.

The par 4 18th hole offers views of Gibraltar, and leads back to the clubhouse, where there is a bar-restaurant with out-door patio overlooking the mediterranean.
